Police were called to the scene of a store burglary north of Nashville overnight.
The incident was reported at a Family Dollar located on White's Creek Pike.

Officials with Metro Nashville Police said the suspect smashed the glass at the front door and took Newport Cigarettes.
Police said the suspect was wearing a dark blue tank top and white shoes and got away in a gray sedan.
K-9 Units were called to the scene but police said the suspect had long since gone.
The mobile crime lab also arrived on scene to bag evidence.
The burglary remained under investigation.
