Authorities have asked for the public’s help locating a truck involved in a fatal hit and run crash.
The wreck happened around 3:35 a.m. on July 15 on Charlotte Pike.
Officials said a white pickup truck, believed to be a crew cab model, fatally injured 29-year-old Kayla Anderson, of Sparta.
Surveillance video captured images of the truck.
Reports stated Anderson was with a friend at the Shell market in the 2100 block of Charlotte Pike when she walked away.

According to the friend, Anderson was intoxicated, and a witness told police they heard squealing tires and a woman screaming just before Anderson was found.
She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she passed away.
Police said, according to her injuries, it appeared Anderson had been lying in the roadway when she was hit.
