NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Hillsboro Village is seeing a lot of change in this city On The Rise, and yet another longtime store in the area has announced it is closing its doors.
This week, the Pangaea Nashville store announced it is closing up shop after 31 years.
Owner Sandra Shelton says she will retire to spend time doing things shes doesn't have time for now.
The planned closure marks the latest in a series of longtime stores leaving the Hillsboro Village area as new stores move in.
Shelton says customers have been wishing her well nonstop.
"I'm stunned and overwhelmed by all the people who have come in and said things and stopped me," Shelton said.
While Shelton planned to close the store at the beginning of next month, she says she may have to close down in just a few days because most of her inventory is being bought up quicker than she first thought.
