Police confirmed a man who was shot over a social media dispute has died from his injuries.
Authorities said 22-year-old Alando Harris, Jr. was shot in the head Monday evening in the 800 block of Dickerson Pike.
He was taken to Skyline Medical Center. On Thursday, officials confirmed he died.
Charged in the shooting was 20-year-old Jadon Malone. He was charged early Tuesday with attempted criminal homicide before the victim's death. He was still being held without bond.
Detectives have been speaking with the District Attorney’s Office about upgrading the charge against him to murder.
