A man surrendered to police on a vehicular homicide indictment in connection with a crash that killed a Nashville cab driver last October.
Dallas Wayne Hendrix was released on bond Wednesday night. The 30-year old was also charged with reckless endangerment and aggravated assault.
Investigators said Hendrix was driving a van on 2nd Avneue when it crashed into a cab that was stopped at a red light on Peabody Street.
The driver of the taxi, 55-year old was killed in the crash.
The Ethopian native is remembered as a beloved father who worked tirelessly to provide for his wife and two children.
