A man was taken to the hospital after being injured in a shooting that was reportedly a drive-by.
The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Buena Vista Pike at the corner of Cliff Drive near a discount tobacco store.
Reports stated a man was shot in the parking lot. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in unknown condition. Officials on scene said it was believed his injuries were non-life threatening.
A black pickup truck at the scene had bullet holes.
The investigation remained ongoing.
