NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The NFL Draft isn't the only big event happening downtown this weekend.
30,000 runners are hitting the pavement for the St. Jude Rock 'n' Roll Nashville Marathon, half-marathon and 5K.
St. Judes hosted a pasta party for their "heroes" -- Rock n Roll Nashville Marathon runners who raised money for the hospital.
"I work with younger students, encouraging them to go to college, so children have a big place in my heart," said Ryan Romero, a runner from Las Vegas. "Encouraging the children to grow up and have an amazing life is what I want to do for them."
