Organizers have chosen dozens of team leaders who will organize line and grid searches in various areas.
The search areas will be near Tennessee City off Garners Creek Road south of Highway 70.
Volunteers are encouraged to sign up early for the search through the sheriff’s website. The search will start at 7 a.m. and volunteers will have to sign a non-disclosure form.
Right now, volunteers have been instructed to meet Saturday morning at Dickson County High School.
If you are unable to sign up online, you can sign up on site Saturday but the sheriff said this could cause a slow-down.
They prefer sign ups online. The sheriff’s office will run background checks on all the volunteers participating in the search.
For those unable to search, officials are encouraging donations like water and snacks to be dropped off to Dickson county EMA at 284 Cowan Road.
