NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Officer John Anderson was honored Thursday evening at the Let Freedom Sing celebration on Broadway.
Ofc. Anderson was killed early Thursday morning when his police car was struck by a juvenile driver.
Chief Steve Anderson was joined on the main stage by MNPD's Drill and Cermony Team, a team Ofc. Anderson was a part of before his death.
A moment of silence was held by all those in attendance on Broadway and Ofc. Anderson's picture was displayed on the video boards surrounding the stage.
