NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police have issued arrest warrants for a Hermitage man in connection with his wife’s murder.
Metro Nashville police said 42-year-old Ronald Dickens is now wanted for criminal homicide in the case. He was initially sought for questioning.
His wife, Shawnton Clay, 30, was found dead at the couple's Avalon Apartments home around 4:30 pm. Sunday.
Clay's family and friends say she did not show up for work Saturday. No one had heard from her throughout the day. Her family then forced entry into her apartment and found her dead with obvious trauma.
Detectives believe Dickens has fled Tennessee and is likely driving Clay’s 2017 black Toyota Camry bearing Tennessee license number T4522V.
Anyone seeing him or the car is asked to contact your local law enforcement agency.
