NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Traveling can be stressful, especially during a pandemic. But a new option at BNA aims to give travelers a place to relax and put them at ease while traveling during the coronavirus pandemic.
The next time you're at the airport you may notice the new "Minute Suites" in Terminal D. The site features five private suites and a bathroom with a shower for guests to reserve for use.
The idea behind it is that if travelers have a layover or need some time to relax and unwind, or to do some work, these suites give them a private area to do so. It gives travelers a space where they can take their masks off and be socially distant during this pandemic.
Inside the Suites there's a daybed, tv, workstation and wifi.
Customers tell me while those amenities are great, for them the most important part is that they use hospital-grade cleaning so they feel more at ease while traveling during the pandemic.
"We've always from day one took that seriously, more so now than ever," said co-founder Daniel Solomon, "Minute Suites provide you with natural social distancing and because our killing agent is EPA certified to kill COVID-19. We've now installed hospital-grade air filtration so the air is being circulated and clean, it's probably the safest place to be at in the airport."
Minute Suites currently has seven locations in five different airports around the country.
The rates begin at $45 for one hour. To book reservations in advance, click here. In-person reservations are welcomed, but booking in advance is encouraged for planned layovers.
