LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. (WTVF) — A mother charged in connection with a child abuse case in Lawrenceburg has been released after posting a $50,000 bond.

Brooklyn Tidwell, mother of baby Addilyn, was released overnight. The then-three-month old Addilyn nearly died in January after she was found with broken bones, internal bleeding and swelling on the brain.

Both Tidwell and the child’s father, Michael Fisher, have been charged in the case. She’s been charged with aggravated child neglect, while Fisher, who remains locked up on a $500,000 bond, is charged with attempted homicide.

Addilyn has made an amazing recovery and was released from the hospital a couple of weeks ago. She remains in the care of other family members.
