FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — Move over Nashville! Bachelorette parties might want to sneak to Franklin to snap photos with the city's first wall mural.

Lynda and Tommy McGuire own a local decor shop in town.

"Always opening new product and putting it out we always have fun stuff coming in," McGuire said.

They're always looking for ways to bring new customers to Riverside Franklin. A mural seemed like the perfect way to attract picture takers to their store.

"We love Franklin, it was just a way to show our pride in our town" said McGuire.

The idea behind it is to have 'We Love Franklin' perfectly placed in your Instagram photo.

McGuire said, "We didn't want something huge, we wanted it to fit in and still be that small Franklin feel."

However, Franklin might not be small for long. A hotel is being built across the street from their shop.

McGuire said, "It's just going to be some really unique fun things in addition to all the businesses, like us, that have been here for a long time."

The city's first rooftop venue will open soon too.

"In fact the first day that it was being put up as soon as he finished there was a couple young ladies that had come out of the coffee house and they said 'ooo we want to be the first to have our picture made,'" McGuire said.

So as more locals and tourists find out about the mural, the couple hopes their store will get busier too.

You can spot the mural from Bridge Street. It was created by the artist who goes by the name "Forbecks."
