NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro police said one person has been arrested in connection to a shooting in downtown Nashville on Sunday morning that injured eight people.
Allen Crump, 22, was charged with felony reckless aggravated assault. Police said an investigation into the shooting led officers to his home, where Crump was cooperative and admitted to shooting a pistol, which was also recovered at the home.
Police said around Crump and another man got into an argument around 1 a.m. near Second Avenue N. and Commerce Street that escalated to a shooting. Eight people were shot or grazed, but none of the injuries were life-threatening.
Officers are still attempting to confirm the identity of the second man involved.
