DICKSON, Tenn. (WTVF) — It's a sinkhole that gets worse with every rain -- and nothing's being done to fix it, all because of a dispute that's heading to court.

It's a disagreement that's been brewing for more than a year off Highway 46.

The collapsed drain underneath causes flooding during heavy rains, especially at the Dickson Sportsman Store.

But who's job is it to repair the sinkhole? That's for a judge to decide after the sportsman store filed a lawsuit in November.

Both the City and State have said it's not their responsibility to fix it, with the City of Dickson having said in a press release that the city "has no authority to maintain any of the stormwater collection system" in the affected area.

All this, as the store owner keeps an eye to the skies and the rain expected this weekend.
