A Smyrna gun store was burglarized overnight for the second time in less than a month.

The burglary was reported at 1 a.m. Thursday at Guns N More on Sam Ridley Parkway.

Smyrna Police said nine shotguns and semi-automatic rifles, along with ammunition, were stolen.

The suspects got into the business by backing through the front glass entrance of the business. They used a stolen vehicle from a carjacking that happened in Nashville on Tuesday.

Police said the suspect vehicle is a gray 2013 Audi A4, with Ohio tag FTN-8532. The description matches that of a carjacking victim's vehicle in Nashville and a police chase in Hendersonville.

Five suspects were involved, including four men who were wearing masks. A woman was also seen on surveillance video.

"We're hoping because of that, it will allow someone to recognize these individuals and give us a lead we can follow up and bring them into custody," said Sgt. Bobby Gibson of Smyrna Police Department.

The same gun store was hit back on October 18. In that incident, at least 24 handguns were stolen from five display cases.

This puts the total number of stolen guns in Rutherford County at 57 in just a month.

"They are dangerous individuals and now that they're armed, they're even more dangerous," said Gibson.

A spokesperson for the ATF believes they may have recovered some of the stolen guns in other arrests in Middle Tennessee, though they're still investigating which guns are linked to each burglary.

Anyone with information was asked to contact Smyrna Police at 615-459-6644.
