NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Storm 5 Alert was issued from Monday afternoon through Tuesday morning but has now expired as skies start to clear.

Overnight snow flurries continued to fall which led to slick or icy road conditions across the Cumberland Plateau.

A Winter Weather Advisory was issued for several counties in the eastern tier of the mid-state, but that has also expired.

A few flurries may still pop up throughout the morning so watch for slick roads and ice on bridges and overpasses on Tuesday morning.
