Dozens of Brentwood residents have been cleaning up after a strong pop-up storm blew through the mid-state.
The microburst downed power lines and toppled trees Tuesday around 2 p.m.. At one point more than 8,000 homes were without power, according to NES.
There have been no reports of injuries.
Trees were blown down on homes on Oden Court and Brushboro Drive, and two trees fell into a swimming pool outside Sarah Lundy's home.
"I heard one tree snap and go in the pool, I rushed to the window, and the second one snapped and came down," Lundy said.
At least one transformer blew after a branch across power lines above it caught fire. The Brentwood Fire Department responded to that while NES crews arrived.
