NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Storms brought strong winds, rain, and hail as they passed through Southern Kentucky then Middle Tennessee.
Multiple reports of hail, as well as downed trees and lines, came in Sunday afternoon and evening.
Part of a tree fell near a home in East Nashville, located in the 1300 block of Forrest Avenue, bringing down lines in that area, and a pug possibly saved children and a home when he barked until the family noticed live wires had caught their siding on fire.
Hail reports came in from numerous locations, including Nashville, Greenbrier, Goodlettsville, Fairview, Portland, Cross Plains, and Charlotte.
Many areas also reported dangerous lightning, half-inch to an inch-sized hail, and torrential rainfall. For the latest information on weather in your area, click here.
