NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The 21-year-old suspect accused of shooting and killing Nashville nurse Caitlyn Kaufman was scheduled to appear before a judge, Tuesday morning; however, his court date has been rolled to the last week of December.
Devaunte Hill has been charged with killing Kaufman as she was driving along Interstate 440 while she was on her way to work more than a week ago. He's now expected to appear in court on Dec. 29.
Metro Nashville police announced the arrest during a news conference on Friday and said more arrests could be coming. Investigators have not revealed a motive but said the two didn't know each other.
