NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro leaders are holding the third virtual town hall meeting to discuss with the community their hopes for the next police chief.

The Community Oversight Board and the Human Relations Commission will host the meeting on Monday night from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The first two town hall meetings were held in August.

The meeting will be streamed on Metro Nashville's website. You can also join the meeting through Webex or via phone by calling 415-655-0002 and using the access code "146 529 7403#".

If you can't make Monday night's meeting, there will be another one held on September 28.

Finalists for the Metro Police Chief position will meet with Mayor John Cooper in October.

Chief Steve Anderson retired in August and Deputy Chief John Drake assumed command until a new chief of police is named.
