In the wake of women across the country coming forward with stories about sexual assault, a mid-state teen wants to make it clear to her classmates how important it is to get consent before sex.
Julia Cook, a senior at Franklin High School, said she came up with the "Got Consent?" campaign with her friends after seeing similar public service messages about sexual assault targeting college students, but not high schoolers.
She worked on the video through the Diversity Leadership Program at Franklin High School.
Julia hopes that the message in her video will spread from Franklin High school, to the other schools in Williamson County and beyond.
