Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Deputies found a shooting victim while investigating a burglary Sunday afternoon.
They found the man at a residence on Freedom Lane with at least one gunshot wound. The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials identified the victim as 47-year-old Jonathan Ray Rollins, of Winchester.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. We will share updates as we learn more.
