NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — More than 7,000 new unemployment claims were filed last week in Tennessee, up by more than 200 from the week before.
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development reported Thursday that 7,221 new claims were filed during the week ending on November 7. The week before that, the number of claims was at 6,992.
