NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — More than 7,000 new unemployment claims were filed last week in Tennessee, down slightly from the week before.
The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development released the latest numbers on Thursday, saying 7,411 new claims were filed during the week ending on Dec. 19. The week before that, 7,464 new claims were filed.
The number of continued claims rose to 43,482.
