Cheatham County Woman Captures Dangerous Intersection On Camera

ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. -- Sunday morning a Cheatham County woman sounded the alarm about a dangerous intersection right by her home, and she captured the proof on camera.

Becky Seip said all sorts of cars routinely blow through the stop signs at the three way stop at her home on the corner of Mosley Ferry Road and Old Highway 12.

The problem got so bad that she took matters into her own hands and shot video of what she saw, including a Cheatham county school bus running the stop sign.

Seip said she's tried contacting city leaders for help, but nothing's been done yet. She said it's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

“I'm not safe, because all it would take is the right car coming from the right direction at the wrong speed and that could be it,” said Seip.

Seip said she contacted Cheatham County Schools and showed them her video of the bus driver passing through the intersection. They told her, they'll be looking into what they saw on camera.
