After an active start to the work week, cooler and calmer weather has arrived to the mid-state and southern Kentucky. Conditions will feel more like spring as we head into late week.
A cold front has swept through the region this afternoon, bringing light showers and the low chance for a rumble of thunder across the Plateau.
No severe weather is expected today or over the next few days.
Behind the front, noticeably cooler air arrives, keeping highs only a few degrees below seasonal in the upper 60s, low 70s. This cooler pattern stays with us through the 7 day forecast.
