If you've been enjoying the nice, cooler stretch of weather then you're in luck! A dry cold front is moving through the region today, keeping winds out of the north. It's also bringing the clouds this evening.
Tonight stays cool, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s. While a stray shower can't be ruled out, the majority of us stay dry.
Tomorrow, clouds will begin to decrease with highs reaching the mid to upper 60s. It'll be below average as far as May goes, but it'll feel lovely!
A few showers and even a thunderstorm can't be ruled out by Saturday afternoon, especially north of I-40, but rain chances are limited. If any does fall, it'll be light.
An area of high pressure builds in on Sunday, bringing lots of sunshine! If you're headed out early in the morning, be cautious of fog.
Next week heat begins to build back in, with highs soaring back into the low 80s. That warmth will set the stage for our next chance at unsettled weather. Tuesday and Wednesday bring thunderstorms, but right now it does not look severe.
