Today continues the quiet pattern with highs still in the low 80s and some sunshine. Clouds will begin to build this evening but temperatures remain mild. If you're headed out to any Friday Night Lights games, you likely won't even need a jacket.

Of course, the big focus continues to be on tomorrow. The majority of Saturday will be sunny, very warm and windy. If our forecast verifies, we will set a new record high tomorrow before the cold front arrives.

The window for the arrival of severe weather continues to be between sunset and early Sunday morning.

Primary threat continues to be strong, damaging winds above everything else, but we can't rule out a brief spin-up tornado or small hail. Due to that, a Storm 5 Alert has been issued.

Similar to Saturday, most of Sunday will also be "quiet", which is great news for the noon kickoff game with the Titans. It'll be significantly cooler and still very breezy.
