After another comfortable day outside, we expect humidity levels to increase by the end of the work-week.
As we head into July, many of you wouldn't mind seeing some rain. Right now, Nashville is running a deficit for the month of June.
As temperatures heat up and humidity begins inching up Wednesday so do concerns for Air Quality. A “Code Orange” ozone alert has been issued for the day. Everyone, especially those with asthma, heart disease, and the elderly should limit outdoor activity.
Meanwhile, there will be a chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms this weekend. Right now, it doesn't look as if any day will be a washout, but you'll want to keep an eye on the interactive radar on the NewsChannel 5 Storm Shield App as you're out and about with all of the activities planned this weekend.
