Cold front bringing 30-35 mph wind gusts, heavy downpours today

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A cold front is expected to bring showers and thunderstorms to Middle Tennessee on Monday. A few of those storms could be strong to severe.

A line of showers and storms will move through the Mid-State from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. While widespread severe weather is not expected, isolated storms with damaging wind gusts will be possible. Winds could gust between 30-35 mph.

Behind the cold front, cooler air arrives for the middle of the week. Highs Tuesday will be in the 60s, with overnight lows dipping back into the 40s.
