A couple of the storms could be strong to severe – with damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours being the primary threats. The tornado threat is low, but one or two can't be ruled out.
Our western counties could see activity before noon, while the chance in the eastern counties will arrive after noon.
The system comes ahead of a cold front that will move across the area Thursday night into Friday morning, but the front will keep rain chances with us through the weekend.
