ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a bad crash outside an Antioch home early Monday.
The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Pebble Creek Drive in Antioch.
A driver crashed into two parked vehicles, totaling at least one of them.
The owner of one of the vehicles tells NewsChannel 5 he awoke to the sound of the crash outside the home. He told police he saw another vehicle pull up behind the crashed car, take money out of the car, then pull the driver out before driving off.
"I just walked out and saw what looked like a Nissan Ultima face of the car completely in my son’s car," said the homeowner.
He explains that he just bought the car for his son as a graduation present, putting the tags on the car only five days ago.
"I saw a black BMW stop right here, the driver pull him out from the car because the guy can’t walk because was hurt, and take off," said the homeowner.
The other car belonged to his wife. The father of two tells us that this isn't the first time something like this has happened because cars are speeding through the neighborhood.
Metro Police are investigating this hit and run. No arrests have been made at this time.
