NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Hermitage man wanted for the January 25 murder of his wife has been arrested in St. Petersburg, Florida by local deputies and deputy U.S. Marshals.
Metro Nashville Police issued arrest warrants for 42-year-old Ronald Dickens on January 28th on a criminal homicide charge for the death of 30-year-old Shawnton Clay. Clay was found dead in the couple's Avalon Apartments home with obvious trauma to her body.
Family and friends tell NewsChannel 5 the couple was in the process of a divorce.
Officials did not say when Dickens will be extradited back to Tennessee.
