The Lebanon Police Department has banded together to raise money for one of their own dispaters, after her two-year-old son was killed in a crash on I-440 Monday.

Police said a dump truck crashed into an SUV that Samantha Hudson and her husband Joey were driving.

Their two-year-old son, Chase, was in the back seat. He died from his injuries, while Samantha and Joey survived.

Lebanon Police said their hearts were broken, and their focus is supporting Samantha and Joey.

"We're very close, and this is devastating for everyone to wrap their heads around, so we're doing the best we can," said Corporal P.J. Hardy with the Lebanon Police Department.

Part of that support is a fund the Police Department set up, to pay for the families expenses as they emotionally and physically recover. Click here to find out more about the fund for the family.
