HOUSTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WTVF) — A Houston County teen paralyzed during a football scrimmage in August is now a high school graduate.
Jefferey Cox graduated Friday evening at Houston County High School.
Earlier this month, his classmates built a ramp on the graduation stage so that Jefferey could collect his diploma with his classmates.
He continues physical therapy at Tennova Healthcare in Clarksville, and has been showing signs of improvement.
He plans to attend Austin Peay in the fall.
