Dangerous Heat Continues

This Afternoon: Sunny & Hot|High: 99| S-5
Tonight: Mostly Clear |Low: 75| S-5
Tomorrow: Mostly Sunny, Hot |High: 99| S 5-10

In Depth:
We'll continue to see highs near the century mark through the weekend. The heat index will top 100 degrees over the next few days; so, please stay heat safe. Right now, it looks as if our temps will stay just below the records today and tomorrow.

Humidity levels are slightly lower today but will rise again this weekend. That has prompted heat advisories for some of our western and northwestern counties Saturday. We'll watch to see if those are expanded into the mid-state.

If you're attending one of the several weekend events, please remember the heat safety tips and stay hydrated, even if you're just sitting outside.
