NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Several Middle Tennessee counties are in a Flash Flood watch all day Monday. The area, east of Nashville, includes Lafayette, Smithville, Jamestown and Crossville.

Heavy rainfall is expected in this area with 2-3 inches possible in some spots, according to the National Weather Service. Street flooding, as well as flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas could be a risk.
Portions of Central and Eastern Kentucky, including Bowling Green, are also under a Flash Flood watch until 9 p.m.
