The Metro City Council announced the city has begun taking nominations for the new Community Oversight Board.
The board will be comprised of 11 members, two of which will be nominated by council members and two others by the Mayor's office.
Anyone interested in applying can turn in a personal petition form to the Metro Clerk's office. It must have at least 50 signatures of Davidson County residents. People can also be nominated by a community organization.
There is no age requirement to be on the board. The deadline to apply is December 18.
