Officials at Tennessee State University confirmed injured football player Christion Abercrombie has been upgraded to stable condition. According to officials, he will be discharged Wednesday and transferred to an Atlanta hospital which specialized in brain injuries.

Staci Abercrombie, the mother of Christian Abercrombie said: “We thank everyone for their love, support an prayers... Keep praying.”
Abercrombie was critically injured on September 29.
Representatives with the school said Sunday he had been off a ventilator for more than 24 hours and is breathing on his own.
