NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Metro Nashville Police officers arrested 25-year-old Nicholas Barrett in connection the the damage of the Historic Metro Nashville Courthouse during Saturday's destructive protest.
Barrett faces charges of aggravated rioting and vandalism. Police say he used a skateboard to break out windows and later threw the skateboard at a marked police car on 2nd and Commerce Street, damaging the driver's side.
Barrett is the fifth person to be charged in connection to the damage made to the courthouse.
