NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — WeGo Public Transit said it will suspend its service to downtown Nashville on Monday night starting at 9:15 p.m. in order to adhere to the curfew in Davidson County.
All buses headed out of downtown at 9:15 p.m. will drop off passengers until the bus reaches the end of its line. No passengers will be picked up for the rest of the evening.
On Monday, Mayor John Cooper called for a curfew in Metro Nashville beginning 10 p.m. and lasting until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The mayor issued a civil emergency order following violent protests downtown on Saturday night which allows him to set a curfew for one week.
WeGo said will resume regularly-scheduled services at 5:15 a.m. Tuesday.
