The daughter of a woman who was attacked by alleged murderer Kirby Wallace says she was glad to see he was finally captured.
According to police and family, Wallace attacked Suzanne Hollyfield at her Clarksville home.
Police say he tied her to her bed with ropes, cords and duct tape. He then allegedly stole her credit card, threatened her life if she gave him the wrong PIN, then stole electronics from her home.
She got away with her life, but died one month later.

"I can’t prove that he caused it. She wasn’t in perfect health, but nobody expected her to pass away and I spoke to my mother regularly and her mental health - at least you can tell what is deteriorating in that month after it happened," said Holmes. "I just feel like he weakened her. I feel like he we weakened her physically and mentally and emotionally and my whole family and I think that it contributed - that she would not have died when she did if this hadn’t happened to her."
Wallace went is the prime suspect in two murders. He was captured in Stewart County after a week-long manhunt.
"I was ecstatic when I first got the news. I was excited. I was happy. I was like cheering them on for catching him. I read the story about how they brought him in and how it was just sheer luck he just happened to show himself and I would’ve given anything to be there and see his face when that cop said sheriff put your hands up and had his gun pointed at him I would have just love to seen his face and say something nasty to him," said Holmes.
Wallace was not charged in the incident involving Holmes' mother, but he faces several other charges for the crimes he's suspected of while on the run including first degree murder.
